Member will receive the following notice along with their Member Portal link:

"Welcome to the Westside Market Family!

We're excited to have you on board. Now that you have signed the contract and paid your initial subscription fees, you're ready to begin your new venture with us. The credit card used for your initial payment will be securely kept on file for future monthly charges.

You can now input your inventory through the member portal, iOS app, or Android app.

To ensure prompt receipt of your monthly earnings, please add your banking information in the member portal.

Once your inventory is entered into the system, you can start selling! After you receive confirmation that your space is ready, you can schedule your move-in date with the store manager. Your price tags will be printed directly from your inventory at the tagging station in the store. 

We encourage you to participate in our Third Saturdays Event each month, where we spotlight and promote our new and established members. Invite your friends and meet your neighbors! 

 What is Third Saturday ?

Second Saturday at Westside Market will be our monthly open house where we welcome our new members and celebrate their new partnership.  We will have a ribbon cutting ceremony for each new member at their space, invite them to share their story and product knowledge with our team,  and introduce them to other members in their Westside Market community. They will receive their T shirt, and we will take pictures during the ribbon cutting and record a new member interview  for online marketing. They will be encouraged to ‘ring the big brass bell’ to start their business!

Construction:

  • Painting of walls is prohibited.

  • Permanent wall coverings are prohibited

  • Any construction and or floor coverings completed in and around the assigned space must be approved by Westside in writing prior to commencing. 

  • Any approved construction must be completed by a licensed and insured general contractor.

  •   All improvements such as but not limited to walls, drywall, wallpaper, pegboard, wood, or laminate flooring, electrical, or attachments will become the property of Westside if left after move out.

  • Consignors shall not place any sign in or on the building, including the space, without prior written approval of Westside.

  • No permanent or hazardous changes to the walls nor floors are allowed.

  • Space must be returned to its original condition subject to Westside’s discretion.

  •  Westside is not responsible for injury or damages due to any construction made by the member.

  •  Any damages to your designated or surrounding space or other members products while building or moving in or out or during your operation at the store shall be your responsibility and will be billed at cost to you or deducted from your payout or deposit. 

Hazardous Materials.  No hazardous materials are allowed at Westside.  Consignor represents and warrants that it will operate in the premises in compliance with any and all Federal, State or local laws, rules or ordinances. 

Electrical. All lighting must be LED. Max allowable wattage equals total wattage of all bulbs used in a space: Single Booth 15 watts, 1.5 Booth 23 watts, Double Booth 30 watts, Triple Booth 45 watts

Extension cords must have a built in surge suppressor, and can only be plugged directly into a wall outlet. Cords must be tucked behind furniture and fixtures, and may not cross walkways.

C.L.A.I.M. Standards of Merchandising.  Consignor acknowledges that Westside has the right to impose quality control restrictions on the merchandise and agrees to remove any merchandise determined by Westside, at Westside’s sole discretion that does not meet Westside’s C.L.A.I.M. standards

Clean: space is clean or customer ready 

Lighting: having proper lighting 

Accessibility: customers can easily access and shop space.

Inspiring: make your space inviting with creativity, fresh merchandise and a unique look.

Maintenance: visit your space often, keep it stocked with new merchandise.


Member Information Class:  SM will hold an information session for new members during the Third Saturday event, and at additional time the SM determines is beneficial for the session. The session will cover:

  • Ticket printer and member sign in

  • Emergency exits and fire extinguisher locations

  • Staff introductions

  • Warehouse layout and policies
