Purpose:

The purpose of this policy is to ensure efficient utilization of retail space at Westside Market and maintain a visually appealing and professional shopping environment. This policy outlines the procedures and responsibilities related to empty booths, including identification, communication, maintenance, and corrective actions.

1. Identification of Empty Booths

  • Definition of an Empty Booth: A booth that is available for new member, it can not appears neglected.
  • Regular Inspection: Store Managers and Assistant Managers are responsible for conducting weekly walkthroughs to identify empty.

2. Maintenance and Presentation of Vacant Booths

         If a booth remains empty despite all efforts:

  • Temporary Use: Store Manager ONLY may temporarily utilize the space for seasonal displays or pop-up promotions to maintain store aesthetics.
  • Vendor Outreach: Continue efforts to reach out to the vendor and resolve the situation.

3. Record-Keeping and Documentation

  • All notifications, communications, and actions related to empty booths must be documented in the BMBerry system.
  • Maintain a follow-ups, and resolutions for reference and accountability.

4. Accountability and Enforcement

  • Store Managers and Assistant Managers are responsible for enforcing this policy.
  • Operations Managers will oversee compliance and provide guidance on difficult cases.
  • Non-compliance by staff in implementing this policy may result in corrective action.
