Jury Duty and Voting Policy

2. Jury Duty

📌 Employee Responsibilities
✅ Employees who receive a jury duty summons must notify their immediate supervisor as soon as possible.
✅ A copy of the official jury duty notice must be provided for documentation.

📌 Time Off & Return to Work
✅ Employees will be granted unpaid time off for the duration of their jury duty based on their standard work hours.
✅ Employees must return to work immediately after their jury duty ends for the day or if they are dismissed early.

🚨 Failure to notify management or return to work as required may result in disciplinary action.

3. Voting

📌 Time Off for Voting
✅ Westside Market encourages all employees to exercise their right to vote in local, state, and federal elections.
✅ Employees who need time off to vote must inform their immediate supervisor in advance.
Unpaid time off will be granted for voting only if the employee has no feasible opportunity to vote outside of work hours.
