Westside Market conducts exit interviews to gather valuable feedback from departing employees, ensuring a smooth transition and continuous workplace improvement.

Scheduling & Format

📌 Exit Interview Timing:

  • The HR/Accounting department will schedule an exit interview upon receiving an employee's resignation or termination notice.
  • The interview will take place on or before the employee’s last working day.

📌 Interview Options:

  • Employees can choose to participate in person or virtually based on preference and availability.
  • If an in-person meeting is not possible, HR will arrange a virtual interview using appropriate communication tools.

Discussion Topics

The exit interview will cover key areas, including:
Reason for Leaving: Understanding why the employee chose to leave.
Job Satisfaction: Gathering insights on the employee’s overall experience.
Training & Orientation: Assessing if the employee felt well-prepared for their role.
Work Environment: Evaluating company culture and team dynamics.
Supervisor/Management Feedback: Providing space to share thoughts on leadership.
Suggestions for Improvement: Encouraging constructive feedback on policies and practices.
Company Property Return: Ensuring all company assets (keys, equipment, documents, etc.) are returned.

Confidentiality & Documentation

🚨 Confidentiality Assurance:

  • All feedback shared during the exit interview will remain strictly confidential.
  • Responses will not be shared with colleagues or management without the employee’s consent.

  • HR will document the discussion, including key feedback and recommendations.
